To the West Vincent Township Supervisors:

We, the undersigned, are opposed to the proposal that has been submitted by David Della Porta to build a high-density apartment complex on the Griffith Property, located at Route 100 and Nantmeal Road.

Specifically, we are opposed to the following:

  1. The new Tier V designation to the R2 Zone which permits construction of high-density apartment complexes in West Vincent Township.
  2. Any ordinance that permits Tier V developments that does not allow for public input or reasonable conditions (via the conditional use process) to protect the health, safety, and welfare of area residents. (That is, under no circumstances should any apartment complex be a "by right" option for a developer.)
  3. The placement of any apartment complex in such a prominent location, on a ridgeline, and with a height in excess of 35 feet.
