Please Help!  A fifteen-second phone call will make a big difference!

Thanks so much for your interest in the Chester County Bookmobile. Currently, Bookmobile service is not cancelled--it is merely suspended while the Library's Board of Trustees decides whether to keep or eliminate the service. The Bookmobile serves citizens who need and deserve our help:  handicapped children, the elderly, Head Start children, minorities, shut-ins, and isolated county residents.

Our group, the Citizens Alliance for the Bookmobile, wants to work with the library board to restore service. We have an offer of a donated vehicle from Krapf's Buses, and we have learned that grant money and other resources abound. The library administration and county officials have no reason for denying Chester County residents this service. All we need are calls of public support:

This one call will help so much:  The commissioners' secretary:  610-344-6100
A receptionist will answer. Just say that you would like to see Bookmobile service restored in Chester County.
